A significant group of LibDems from all the South West made their way to London on Saturday, some setting off before 6am on the coaches arranged by Devon for Europe, to take part in one of the biggest, most peaceful, colourful and purposeful demonstrations London has ever seen. We were clapped and congratulated by passers-by despite crowding that must have been a tad inconvenient for them at times!
Also last week at East Devon district council...
Well, last night at full council was certainly lively. Two motions were submitted by the East Devon Alliance. Both were fairly uncontroversial to a person of average levels of empathy. The text of the two motions as submitted were:

East Devon libdems on the move, with thousands of other people, listening to inspirational speeches from a huge range of people of ages and various political persuasions.
